Porthleven Beach
Offering three miles of glorious sand, Porthleven Beach is next to the granite pier of the harbour and accessed from Porthleven village.
Safety: RNLI Lifeguard Summer Cover
Dogs: Dogs are welcome on this beach except between 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place. This ban operates from the Harbour Wall to the flight of steps (known as the Blue Buoy steps). On the rest of the beach there are no restrictions. Although we would always advise checking this before you arrive.

Loe Bar Beach (1 mile from Porthleven):
Loe Bar beach is a half mile shingle bank which separates the Loe, the largest natural fresh walk lake in Cornwall, from the sea.
Safety: No lifeguard cover and people are advised not to swim here.
Dogs: Allowed all year. Although we would always advise checking this before you arrive.
Facilities: No facilities
Parking: There is a small car park to the east of Porthleven, about 15 minutes’ walk away.
Rinsey Cove (2.6 miles from Porthleven):
Rinsey is secluded beach, ideal for swimming, accessible at low tide. The beach itself and surrounding coastline is beautiful with the recently restored engine house, above the cove, offering picture postcard photo opportunities.
Safety: No lifeguard cover
Dogs: Allowed all year. Although we would always advise checking this before you arrive.
Facilities: No facilities
