Marazion Cottages

Marazion is Cornwall’s oldest town with so much charm and an array of things to explore. Marazion is probably most renowned for being home to the iconic, fairy-tale castle of St Michael’s Mount. At low tide you can stroll across the causeway where a legendary giant once walked or catch one of the frequent boats that travel back and forth across to the island. St Michael’s Mount has a harbour, shops and a restaurant. The castle, which raises almost 230 feet above sea level, and its gardens are open to the public at certain times of the year.

Marazion itself is within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers an abundance of places to eat and drink, plus several shops and galleries to browse. The beautiful Mounts Bay boasts stunning views toward the Lizard Peninsula in one direction and Land’s End in the other. The fabulous, Marazion beach is ideal for swimming, sailing, kite surfing and so much more! The bay itself and Marazion Marsh, a site of Special Scientific Interest, are home to hundreds of species of wildlife from seals and dolphins to buzzards, sparrow hawks and starlings.
