Beaches near Port Isaac
Rock
Description: Rock is a long sandy beach on the east side of the Camel Estuary (on the opposite side to Padstow).
Parking: There is one small car park available and also some on road parking. Toilets: Yes, located in far corner.
Facilities: Rock offers a selection of shops, a golf course, cafes, restaurants and ferry service to Padstow. Safety:
Lifeguards don't patrol the beach.
Dogs: Dogs allowed on the beach all year (please check this before you travel). Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
Polzeath
Polzeath is a seaside resort situated on the North coast of Cornwall. Polzeath is renowned for its sandy beach, a hot-spot for celebrities and the royal family.
Description: Wide, flat family beach with good quality surf and some shelter from winds.
Parking: 1 large car park above the cliffs, 1 smaller car park situated on the beach and 1 small car park close to the beach.
Toilets: Yes, located straight across the road from the beach.Facilities: Polzeath offers a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants.Safety: Lifeguards patrol the beach in summer
Dogs: Sorry no dogs throughout July and August between the hours of 10am-6pm although we would advise checking this beforehand. Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
New Polzeath has access to Polzeath beach at low water; and additionally to Pentireglaze beach, a smaller beach.
