Polzeath Beaches
Polzeath
Polzeath’s beautiful sandy beach is a lure for many including the royal family and celebrities. There is a local surf school with great conditions for taking a few lessons.
The large bay is serviced by a relaxed village right by the beach (complete with car park actually on the sand!). An all-round great family beach – it isn’t hard to understand its popularity.
Parking: 1 large car park above the cliffs, 1 smaller car park situated on the beach and 1 small car park close to the beach.
Toilets: Located straight across the road from the beach.
Facilities: Wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants.
Safety: Lifeguards patrol the beach in summer.
Dogs: No dogs throughout July and August between the hours of 10am-6pm, although we would advise checking this beforehand. Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
