Surrey by the Sea… a guide to Constantine Bay
Constantine Bay is a glorious wide sandy beach backed by sand dunes and bounded by a rocky promontory at both ends, making it ideal for family or surfing holidays. This lovely beach is great for the traditional bucket and spade holiday, with fascinating rock pools to explore and plenty of sand for building sandcastles, but is also now popular for modern leisure pursuits such as surfing (equipment may be hired locally) and kite surfing. There is a footpath from the middle of the village which takes you all the way down to the beach - about a 10 minute walk.
Almost as much of a draw to many is the Trevose Golf and Country Club which has a fantastic championship links course providing a challenge for even the best golfers. Actually there are three courses so that even beginners can take advantage of the North Cornish coastline and stunning views. The bar and restaurant have panoramic views of the ocean and there is a beauty salon, golf shop, tennis courts and swimming pool. Temporary membership fees are available for daily, weekly or fortnightly membership.
