Truro, called after Tri-veru meaning three rivers which includes the Rivers Kenwyn and Allen, has developed close to the Truro River and with good road and rail links is within easy reach of almost every part of Cornwall. Just outside on Lemon Quay, Truro Farmer's Market trades every Wednesday and Saturday, offering fresh, quality produce, direct from local producers to the public.

The Piazza at Lemon Quay is the centre of most events in Truro, attracting visitors year-round with numerous different events such as the Winter Festival, Britain in Bloom and many more.

Down in the centre of town, the Pannier Market is the largest of Truro's indoor markets and offers a huge range of goods, with something of interest for every shopper.

Truro Cathedral dominates the skyline and plays an important part in the City's story. It hosts lunchtime recitals, evening concerts and plays throughout the year.

St Agnes is about 9 miles away from Truro, and is a picturesque village on the North Coast of Cornwall. Steeped in mining history, the village still retains a traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere and makes a wonderful base for your holiday. St Agnes is a thriving community with a choice of shops, including craft shops, galleries and workshops.
