Mousehole Guide
The picturesque fishing village of Mousehole is situated on the south coast of Cornwall between Penzance and Land's End. Retaining much of its old world charm the narrow winding streets are filled with art galleries, cafes, small gift shops and restaurants. The vibrant busy harbour reveals a safe sandy beach at low tide, perfect for families to relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon in the sun.
There are many nearby attractions just a short car journey away including Land's End, The Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount and Porthcurno Telegraph Museum. West Cornwall also has some of the best beaches in the county with Marazion, Pednavounder, Sennen, Porthcurno and Lamorna all within easy reach.
Mousehole is a great all year round destination, popular in all seasons and always has plenty to offer. From coastal walks along the Cornish cliff path in the summer to Christmas lights and cosy pubs with open fires in the winter you will always get a warm welcome from Mousehole.
Mousehole Beach
Whilst being one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall, Mousehole is not renowned for it's beaches. However, there are two beaches there - a pebbly beach with a small pool in front of the Old Coastguard Hotel and a small sandy beach in the harbour.
Dogs are banned from Mousehole beach all year.
