Reviews

Cottage has everything you could possibly want and more. Easy parking at the property, Baxter is very warm, comfortable and cosy. Location of the cottage is in Padstow is excellent.

Previous Customer,

Baxters Cottage really is home from home - the décor is just stunning. We love the new kitchen and the bed in the front bedroom - well just perfect, Great location, private parking, home comforts what more could you want from a holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be looking to book again when we can find availability. Thank you

Previous Customer,

We were very happy staying at Baxters cottage over Christmas, the kitchen was well equipped for all cooking needs. We had plenty of towels and toilet rolls, there was even a hairdryer! Plus a Christmas tree and crackers which made our day. The cottage was very clean and comfy, the shower was powerful and hot.. Excellent location to the town and amenities, plus parking, which is a big bonus. We can’t recommend Baxter’s Cottage enough, for anyone who is thinking about staying here I would say it’s a must.

Previous Customer,

Beautiful what else can I say? Just amazing our third visit and we shall definitely be going back to this cottage.

Previous Customer,

We were four adults staying at Baxter's cottage for the weekend. It has everything you would need in terms of kitchen equipment and facilities. The open plan living/dining area had plenty seating for all. The bedrooms were well sized and plenty of furniture. A bonus to have two toilets. The shower was great, with good pressure. Well situated, just a short way up the road from the shops, bars and restaurants of the town. I/we come to Padstow frequently and have used Cornish Horizons before, but this was our first time at this property - consensus of the party, was that this was the best so far, and we'd definitely use it again if available!

Previous Customer,

Baxters cottage is in the perfect location in Padstow - central for shops and restaurants but not so central that you lose any privacy. It was spotlessly clean and the one tiny little house keeping question we had was dealt with politely and immediately. With only one upstairs bathroom i would say it is ideal for a family…. I have no hesitation in recommending Baxters Cottage to anyone.

Previous Customer,

Superb location as basically in the town with the added bonus of parking, and a good size yard for the dogs. Very comfortable, and relaxing

Previous Customer,

It was our first stay at Baxter's cottage and will definitely stay again. The cottage is well kept, modern and ideally situated just a short but steep hill down to the harbour. The property is very dog friendly with secure gated garden. There is ample room for two cars. Would highly recommend this property.

Previous Customer,

Lovely cottage located within 5 minutes of the town centre and harbour. Property is extremely well equipped with everything you need for your stay including parking. Accommodation was clean and welcoming. Padstow is a charming coastal town with a good selection of dining options.

Previous Customer,

Lovely property very near to town although very noisy with the road hence dropped to 4. Stayed at house previously so very pleased with what it offers.

Mrs Customer 2,

Lovely property very well presented with nice outside space and the benefit of 2 car parking spaces.

Mrs Customer 2,

Perfect location a very short walk from the harbour, pubs, shops etc. Very modern, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean on arrival.

Map

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
