Mevagissey Cottages
Located on the south east coast of Cornwall, Mevagissey is a small, traditional Cornish fishing village complete with narrow streets and colourful boats in the picturesque, working harbour. In typical picture-postcard style, pubs, cafes, galleries, gift shops and much more cluster around the harbour walls and line the charming streets. The local fisherman have made the village famous for its seafood, accompanying restaurants and of course, fish and chip shops!
There are plenty of things to do including visiting the model railway, the aquarium, fishing trips which can be taken from the harbour or the beautiful ferry trip to nearby Fowey. The popular Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a couple of miles away from the village and the world famous Eden Project is only 10 miles. In a delightful position on an attractive stretch of coastline, Megavissey offers some lovely walks with the South West Coast Path nearby which wends its way around the cliffs and beaches of the whole county. The nearby beautiful beaches of as Gorran Haven and Pentewan are nearby too – if you fancy a traditional bucket and spade day at the beach!
