Meet the Owner – Woodland View and Valley View

For over 25 years, Cornish Horizons has been successfully letting holiday cottages throughout Cornwall. Not only are we committed to offering the highest possible levels of customer service to our guests, we also strive to maintain a friendly, yet professional service to all our homeowners.

Fiona Pendray, who is the owner of Woodland View and Valley View near Fowey, joined Cornish Horizons recently and has a long history of letting her holiday cottages spanning over 20 years.  The cottages have been letting through another agency which was recently acquired by a large national company. It was very important to Fiona to have a local team to work with so after detailed discussions with Annabel Leach, our Property Manager covering South Cornwall, she decided that Cornish Horizons was the right choice for her.

What made you choose Cornish Horizons to be your agent?

I first asked Cornish Horizons to call as they have a local presence.  I am passionate that I have a good product in my holiday lets and wanted a company that felt enthusiastic about what I have to offer along with big enough advertising power.  Annabel and Sophie convinced me that they were the people I need to convey this to the general public looking for a stress-free holiday in light, airy, comfortable, nicely designed, relaxing properties.  I look forward to working with the team at Cornish Horizons, and excited to feel we really could improve even more with new ideas for our guests of the future!

What have you enjoyed about our service so far?

Meeting Annabel and Sophie who were enthusiastic about the properties and convinced me their photography is 2nd to none!  I can’t wait to see the pictures!!

What was it that first inspired you to start letting Woodland View and Valley View?

Diversification.

What advice do you have for potential property owners who are thinking about holiday letting?

Keep it stylish but simple and comfortable/clean is also number 1 as the sun doesn’t always shine!!!
