If you want a holiday home that thinks outside the box, then we have just the place for you!
First of all, here are the ‘not-so-different’ bits!...
The Farmhouse is in many ways a typical Cornish converted barn; situated in picturesque countryside, spacious, full of character, its traditional feel completed by a woodburning stove and beamed ceilings. Its amazing location (just inland from Padstow) gives you access to the North Coast’s spectacular sandy surfing beaches and a great many family attractions (including Camel Creek Adventure Park less than 10 minutes away and the Eden Project just 30 minutes).
A bit of lateral thinking…
A kids’ paradise, The Farmhouse boasts a wonderful children’s library with an array of fascinating books to provide even the most avid reader with endless entertainment. For those of you with slightly more ‘free-range’ kids, you’ll be delighted to hear that The Farmhouse caters for them as well. The one-acre paddock is just waiting to be explored!
Although The Farmhouse sleeps 6, if you are hankering after a break without the kids then a Small Group Discount is available (20% off for parties of 4 or fewer people or 50% off for 2 or fewer people on full weekly bookings at certain times of the year).
The Farmhouse is located on the owners’ small holding where numerous types of fruit, vegetables and flowers are grown organically and they also make their own preserves. The site, home to an abundance of flourishing wildlife, is completely self-sufficient with a biomass boiler and solar panels. So you can enjoy a week living The Good Life (without the digging!).
On the farm there is also a potter’s studio. Professional potter Deborah is more than happy to offer a pottery experience to those who want to get stuck in, or, if you are more the browsing type, she has a range of stunning pots, dishes, vases and more to peruse.
Oh yes, and don’t forget The Farmhouse’s piano and accompanying music!
