Golf courses in Cornwall are some of the most beautiful in the country, providing a challenge for all levels. Twilight tees are available through the summer on most courses, so you might save up to 50% on green fees and enjoy the long light summer evenings with an evening round of golf. For example, China Fleet Golf Club, with stunning views overlooking the Tamar Estuary offers visitors twilight fees of £15 for 18 holes.

Here’s some of Cornwall’s Golf Clubs that give visitors a friendly welcome:

Mullion Golf Club is England’s most southerly course located on the cliffs of the Cornish Lizard. It is a friendly club, visitors are welcome on a day rate of £35. The 18 hole, par 70, 5871 yard course has the sea views you would expect on the most southerly point of Cornwall. The course includes a tee on a cliff edge! The Club boasts that weather never closes it down, temporary greens are unheard of, it is a course for rain or shine.

Trevose Golf and Country Club is just a couple of minutes from Padstow, overlooking Constantine Bay on the North Coast of Cornwall. Visitors are welcome and the three links courses offer something for everyone. There is also holiday accommodation available within a hundred yards of the club.

Golf courses in Cornwall come no older then West Cornwall Golf Club, established in 1889, which is at Lelant, St Ives. This breezy course is challenging and playable all year round, thanks to the sandy loam. The family-friendly club is easy going and welcoming to visitors, who can play weekdays for £37.

Cape Cornwall Golf Club, St Just, Penzance, is England’s most westerly course and another that boasts stunning scenery. The course winds around the headland of Cape Cornwall with dramatic views out to sea and down to a tiny fishing cove. Visitors are welcome and weekend fees are £32. St Mellion, near Saltash, offers two championship level courses; the Nicklaus Course and the Old Course. Both courses are challenging for even the most experienced golfers, yet beginners are welcome to put their skills to the test on razor sharp greens and deadly fairways. St Mellion Golf Club welcomes casual players and offers twilight fees and two for one offers. There are full leisure facilities including a swimming pool. The 19th hole overlooks the fairways and is a great spot to reflect on your round of golf in Cornwall.

St Enodoc Golf Club is a links course on the north coast at Rock. It was founded in 1891 and is ranked 39th in Great Britain and Ireland by Golf World and 99th in the world. Set amongst sand dunes with magnificent sea and estuary views over the water to Padstow. Home in July to the English Women’s Amateur Championship, a round on this course can be a holiday highlight. Accomodation in the area will be sought after, so if you are planning on watching the tournament book soon. There is a variety of accommodation in the area, including plenty over the estuary via the Black Rock foot passenger ferry.
