Extras needed for next series of Doc Martin

Would you like to be in the next series of Doc Martin?

If so, the show's producers are holding casting sessions in the programme's adopted home of Port Isaac next month.

The church hall will be open for auditions on Saturday March 7th from 10am uhntil 5pm with a separate casting the following day (10am-3pm) to find a baby to play the Doc's new son in the programme.

A spokeswoman from the programme said: "We don't want to give away any details of the script so I can't say for certain what kind of people we're looking for, apart from the baby. But we usually need people of all ages and shapes and sizes. Extras will be paid".

No decisions will be made on the day, but photographs and contact details will be taken. It is expected that around 200 extras will be needed.
