Elton John to play the Eden Project

The now prestigious Eden Sessions by the Eden Project in Cornwall has announced perhaps its most famed performance yet; Elton John is set to play in summer 2015.
The iconic Eden Sessions take the form of a series of live music festivals over the course of the summer, made unique for their spectacular setting in the form of the Eden Project, a venue that sees thousands of visitors on Cornish holidays every year.
‘Most adored artists of all time’
Described by Eden Sessions as ‘Undeniably one of the most acclaimed and adored artists of all time,’ Elton John’s performance on the 16th June 2015 is sure to attract holidaymakers in summer St Ives cottages and further afield in Cornwall. The concert will be part of his European tour and marks his first performance in the county for 30 years.
Featuring iconic hits spanning his incredible five-decade-long career, the concert is not to be missed, with his band being made up of Nigel Olsson on drums, who was a part of Sir John’s original three-piece band, in addition to Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, and Kim Bullard on keyboards.
The concert sees Sir John join the likes of Elbow, Chase and Status, Kasabian, Florence and the Machine and Amy Winehouse among many others as former Eden Sessions acts.
Having recently been named the first recipient of the BRITs Icon Award, an award which celebrates the very highest level of achievement in British music, the tickets for this incredible Eden Sessions performance by Elton John will be well sought after.
Tickets for the Elton John concert are to go on sale from 12th December at 4pm and are expected to sell out quick, so those who are interested are urged to go to the website and reserve their place as well as their Cornwall accommodation so as to avoid disappointment.
