Attractions and cycle hire companies in Cornwall are being urged to take advantage of a new publicity kit to help promote the county as a top cycling destination.

Produced by the European-funded Cycle West Project, the kit contains high quality photos, videos, logos and online banners - all of which, it is hoped, will entice people to get out and explore the beauty of the county on two wheels during their next St Ives self catering holidays.

St Ives is one of the most popular Cornish locations at which to enjoy cycling, with St Just and the Moors of West Penwith, the Great Flat Lode Trail and the Tehidy Trail just some of the cycling opportunities found in the immediate area.

Cycling has seen a huge rise in popularity in recent years, and with such beautiful landscapes and scenery found all across the Duchy, it comes as little surprise that so many choose to explore the county by bike, whether through a bike hire service or by bringing their own from home.
