A series of improvements are being carried out on a popular section of coast path in St Ives, ensuring the safety of this beautiful walk for years to come.

While it is regarded as one of the breathtaking sections of the coast path network in the Duchy, the route from Carbis Bay to St Ives can often become slippery and muddy during wet conditions. The work is set to resolve these issues once and for all, with new flights of steps and improved drainage systems to help remove surface water from the path. The overgrown vegetation will also be considerably cut back, allowing for fine views across St Ives Bay and out towards the Godrevy Lighthouse.

If you are lucky enough to be staying in any of the St Ives holiday cottages during the summer, the coast path to Carbis Bay offers a superb method of discovering the impressive views the region holds.
