Whether you have lived in Cornwall all your life, a short while, or are a repeat visitor there's always somewhere new to discover, uncover or experience. Perhaps that's why those who were born here don't want to move anywhere else and those who have chosen to live or visit here, remain or return. I discovered something new whilst walking through Falmouth this last week, despite countless trips before, and that's the delightful Waterman's Gallery on Custom House Quay.

The resident artist, Sophi Beharrell, was working in the studio - which was very cosy as her little log burner was pumping out the heat on a greyish day. There is some lovely art on display from small to stunning large canvases, with works from other artist's also to view, including pottery and jewellery. Creativity is displayed in many ways, as I also discovered when I met Mary Harvey from CHAT - a charity which helps people with disabilities, where the help comes from working with and looking after Alpacas. Definitely a unique and very successful programme.

If this talk of creativity in Cornwall inspires you to visit a new part of the county, or even to come on a visit, then take a look at some of our lovingly created holiday homes :The Garden Place is a self contained apartment within a traditionally built Cornish house in Boscastle village. Home Farm Cottage is a beautifully presented former farm workers home situated above Boscastle village, with stunning views surrounding. In fact all of our Cornish Cottages are conveniently located for you to dip into any part of Creative Cornwall, so why wait?
