The restaurant industry across Cornwall has recorded a notable increase in revenue over the past months, fantastic news for the region which tourism officials hope can only continue to improve in the future.

With the Office of National Statistics confirming that the overall economy grew by 0.3% in the first three months of 2013, it was also stated that the restaurants, hotels and retail sector grew by 1.1% between January and March – positivity which was far greater than many officials in the region expected.

The increases are proof that Cornwall remains a popular holidaying destination in England, with its wide variety of fine restaurants just one of the great experiences you can enjoy during your Cornwall cottage holidays.

If you are looking for a place to take your holidays this summer, why not book a holiday to Cornwall and discover the beauty of the Duchy for yourself?
