Cornwall is the new foodie capital of Britain according to News on-line, this week. Our Beer, Meats, Charcuterie, Ciders, Ice-Creams and Cheeses are slowly winning an army of followers throughout the country. Of course we would also have to mention the applause that Camel Valley Wines are receiving for their products, not least the delicious bottles of "Cornwall". Despite the many obstacles facing the dedicated artisan bakers, butchers, chef's, cooks, farmers and fishermen, mainly seasonality and distance, the word is out that the produce is fantastic and demand increasing.

In the North Cornwall area there are the highly acclaimed Deli-Farm Charcuterie, Harbour Brewery, Davidstow Cheeses, Camel Valley Wines, and Treleavens Ice Creams, just to start with. There are also Michelin starred restaurants in Padstow and Rock, which can be an incredible experience in themselves. So whether its a meal out or some tasty items for a pic-nic, all of these can easily be accessed from our North Cornwall Cottages.

Camelford Cottages include Nessa, Barn & Bray View. A lovely row of three traditional Cornish Cottages on Davidstow Moor, with unrivalled views of peaceful countryside to the Tors. And only 6 miles to the surfing beach of Trebarwith Strand.

Boscastle Cottages include 5 star Olde Carpenters Cottage on the river-side, and sumptuously presented Home Farm Farmhouse, next door to picture perfect Home Farm Cottage. These three offer a combination of outstanding location and quality interiors. The Garden Place males a delightful romantic bolt hole for two and is also pet friendly. Situated right in the heart of the village, it has views over the uneven rooftops to the Jordan valley.

Wadebridge Cottages are based only 4 miles away at Tregolls Farm. These four beautifully renovated and presented former barns, are a treat for any family to stay in. Quality fitments and furnishings with a great welcome from the resident farmers, will add up to a memorable holiday in fabulous countryside.

Whether it's a foodie, bucket and spades, or surfing holiday you fancy this year, you are definitely going to be spoilt for choice of where to go, what to see or eat, and where to stay.
