Padstow’s famous restaurant, Paul Ainsworth at No 6, was recently awarded one of the AA’s highest awards in recognition of its impressively high standards.
The three rosette award is given to restaurants that produce high quality of food, worthy of recognition well beyond the local area. The AA hotel services manager, Simon Numphud, commented on the award for the popular Cornish restaurant, saying that Paul Ainsworth at No 6 had demonstrated a high level of consistency and quality, along with great overall cooking standards.
They also praised the national recognition that Mr Ainsworth had brought to the area by being on the popular BBC series ‘The Great British Menu’.
If you’re taking a break in Cornwall, maybe staying in one of the many St Ives Cottages, and want to experience the excellent food for yourself, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
