Anyone staying in Cornwall holiday cottages during January might like to kick off their new year keep fit resolutions with one of the great local organised walks near the Cornish town of Bodmin.

This walk features a route between Halgavor and Lanhydrock, organised by a group of local walkers on January 7. The walk has been designed to take in some of the local countryside whilst offering participating walkers looking to increase their physical activity level.

The walk starts at 10:00am on January 7 and should take 1 – 1.5 hours to complete, across a distance of 2 miles. This walk is suitable for people with minor mobility issues who walk at an average speed and who are able to cope with moderate gradients, which includes some footpaths with a mixture of gradients, uneven terrain and steps. Walkers participating in the walk are advised to wear suitable footwear.

Walkers seeking more information on this walk can contact the Bodmin Visitor Information Centre on 01208 76616
