Beach Huts are great as a base for those spending time on the beach!

Beach huts are available to hire via Bude Tourist Information Centre on a daily basis. Please contact Bude TIC on 01288 354240 to find out the most up-to-date prices and to book.

Summerleaze Beach

Summerleaze Beach is one of the most picturesque beaches in Bude. The beach usually still has a good stretch of sand even when the tide is in.  An easy walk from the centre of Bude this popular beach has a sea pool for bathing whatever the sea conditions, its own car park and beach huts and sand wheelchairs available for hire.

Parking:  Car park adjacent to the sand dunes.

Toilets:  Public toilets in the car park.

Facilities:  RNLI lifeboat station, beach office and café.

Dogs:  Dogs allowed all year round, but must be kept on leads from the beginning of May through to the end of September.  We would advise checking the Visit Cornwall website for the most up-to-date information.  Information on bringing your dog on holiday.

Crooklets Beach

A pebbly beach when the tide is in; sandy with rock pools when the tide is out. Popular with surfers and also home to Bude Lifesaving Club.  Beach huts and sand wheelchairs available for hire.

Parking:  Car park adjacent to the beach.

Toilets:  Yes; public toilets and outdoor shower in the car park.

Facilities:  Sea front café.

Dogs: Dogs banned throughout July and August between the hours of 10am-6pm on Crooklets Beach although we would advise checking this beforehand. Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
