Port Isaac Area

Port Isaac is a picturesque fishing village which in the nineteenth century was a busy working harbour where cargos of stone, coal, timber and pottery were loaded and unloaded. Nowadays, the village is well-known for being the backdrop of various television productions including the popular ITV show Doc Martin. If you happen to be looking for somewhere to dine whilst in Port Isaac you will also find Michelin Star Chef Nathan Outlaw's second Fish Kitchen located on Middle Street.

Further afield (about a 10-15 minutes' drive) you will find the fabulous beaches of Rock and Polzeath, so if water sports take your fancy, Polzeath is renowned in the world of surfing for being home to some of the best Atlantic rollers. Its popularity does not end here; the Royal brothers (William and Harry) are frequently spotted surfing and body boarding.
