What’s the guaranteed formula for the faultless holiday to Cornwall? For us, it’s all about having your loved ones with you – whether that’s family or friends, it’s the people you surround yourself with and the memories you make, that’s the most important part of any getaway.

That said, it never hurts to throw in a few other winning elements – a secluded spot to unwind, delicious food and finally a bottle (or two!) of your favourite tipple. Here’s our three step plan for making every trip a success.

Choose your adventure

Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline-filled adventure, full of activities, or a more relaxed pace where you can kick back and just chill, Cornwall is the ultimate location which offers the best of both worlds. It’s also important to think about the location of your holiday home. Do you want to be in the bustling heart of St Ives? Or would you prefer a more tranquil position in the heart of the picturesque Cornish countryside? Whichever you choose, we have the perfect pad for you.

Round up the gang

The ideal getaway group is full of loved ones with the right dynamic for a chilled atmosphere. And when it comes to the actual travelling, remember that regular breaks keeps things more relaxed. It’s also important to consider the size and layout of your holiday home to ensure that everyone has enough privacy and you aren’t all crammed in!

If you aren’t sure that one cottage is enough, why not consider booking two or even three cottages separately which are situated close together? Click here to view our groups of cottages.

Have fun!

Most vitally – enjoy yourself! You’ve earned it! Let your hair down and enjoy precious moments with those most important to you. If you’re visiting Cornwall during the school holidays, then it’s probably a good idea to book in advance! Whether that’s your favourite restaurant or boat trip down the estuary that you’ve been dreaming about. Remember to do your research and book as much as possible to ensure you don’t miss out.
