February half term for pasty’s, soaring like superman and ice skating!

Take the kids to Eden this half term and watch their delight as they soar over the rainforest biomes on Eden’s fabulous canopy zip wire then explore another world as they discover the tropical and Mediterranean delights in Eden’s biomes. With the Eden Project gearing up to host the WORLD pasty championships there’s no better time grab a gorgeous locally made Cornish pasty lunch at Eden’s glorious sustainable restaurant and spend the afternoon ice skating at Eden’s winter rink.

Easter school holidays for a rockpool rummage!

Have the kids hunt for something more magical than Easter eggs this year with the Easter Rockpool Explorer at St Michael’s Mount causeway.  It’s free and there’s no need to book, just look out for the Great Scott flag at the causeway on Monday April 6th 10am or Wednesday 8th 11am. Let the kids bucket brim with creatures from the deep as they learn and giggle in awe in before releasing their catch!

May half term for a festival on the river!

The 10-day celebration that is Fal River Festival includes over 150 events to entertain and capture the imagination of your little ones! From river races to children’s entertainment it’ll be hard for them not to learn something about the ways of the river along the way!

Summer holidays for pirates!

Cornwall is jam packed with great ways to entertain the kids this summer, but our favourite has to be Treasure Island at St Michaels Mount. With activity on the beautiful lawns and stories of the myths and legends of the sea, there’s time to create crafts before you take your little treasure back home to your Cornish Horizons holiday cottage.

October half term for dance!

The Lowender Peran festival of Cornwall near Perranporth on the north coast is a 5 day celebration filled with dance events for the kids, songs, storytelling, family activities, kids crafting and sing-a-long music ..there’s even a little gin tasting you can try out whilst the kids enjoy their Cornish pasty!
