It doesn’t matter what time of year you visit Cornwall, you will be sure to experience some of Britain’s best coastal towns, villages and attractions including The Eden Project, Minack Theatre, Padstow harbour and so much more!

There’s also so much happening throughout the county too – so get your diary! Here’s a few of our firm favourites…

Ice Skating at Eden
From October to February, the only indoor ice rink in Cornwall opens its glittering doors at the Eden Project. Suitable for skaters of all abilities, they even offer skating lessons, parent and toddler play sessions and much more! 
     
Porthleven Food Festival
Porthleven Food Festival is a three-day feast of food, drink and music held in the picturesque harbour town of Porthleven during April. With national and international chef’s theatre, food stalls, street food, music day and night and entertainment for all. 
     
Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival
Founded in 2003 by Falmouth Shout, a local group of singers whose mission is to keep alive the history of the days of sail by performing sea shanties and songs of the sea. The festival now takes place at the same time as the Falmouth Classics Regatta in June.

Mevagissey Week
Mevagissey Feast week is a weeklong event which takes place at the end of June and features live music, colourful parades, flora dances, boat and raft races, a fete, huge fireworks display and more! 
     
Lusty Glaze Sessions
Awarded the No. 1 spot by The Times for ‘Most picturesque live music venues in the UK’. Lusty Glaze have already announced the legendary Symphonica and DJ Mr Switch duo as the first headline act for its 2020 line up. 
     
Fowey Regatta Week
Fowey Royal Regatta takes place for one week in August and is one of Britain’s premier sailing events, attracting thousands of visitors. With a full programme of races and events, it’s a fun-filled week for all the family. 
     
Heritage Open Days
Heritage Open Days celebrate architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission. Every year in September, buildings of every age, style and function open their doors. 

Looe Live
For one weekend in September, the pretty coastal town of Looe invites visitors of all ages to join the Looe Live party. Expect international headline acts on the mainstage, tune into the best upcoming talent with BBC Introducing, dance on the seafront at the beach stage and get stuck into a variety of workshops. Plus there’s over 100 pop-up performances in venues all over Looe.
     
Padstow Christmas Festival
Showcasing Padstow at its best, the festival is one of the UK's largest, bringing together chefs, local producers and crafts-folk to celebrate Christmas in a captivating waterside setting. The two cookery demonstration theatres will be packed with some of the country’s finest chefs as well as more than 100 local producers selling an array of gifts and products in the traditional Christmas market.
     
New Years at St Ives
St Ives is one of the most popular destinations in the UK to see in the New Year. Every year, the cobbled streets become teeming with merrymakers ready for a night of fun and celebration – it’s like one big street party! The night features fireworks, impromptu samba bands and food stalls plus sea creatures and normally a couple of Disney princesses to add to the list of never-ending fancy-dress costumes!
