Here at Cornish Horizons we aren’t just telephone operators in a faceless call centre, we are all local and passionate about everything Cornish! To share a little more about ourselves, and as part of our latest LOVEDOGS campaign, we wanted you to meet our Cornish Horizons dogs, all owned by various team members…

Meet Bees - the best black Labrador around!

Bees is a 10 year old black Labrador and lives with our Portfolio Development Manager Becky and her family. Bees is definitely a water dog. He likes nothing more than to dive into a cold sea puddle at every opportunity. Like all Labradors he loves food. I am sure it is the thing he thinks about for the most hours every day!  To make sure he doesn’t gain to many extra pounds we have managed to persuade him that carrots are just as good as smackos!!

Meet Stanley

He owns Annabel, one of our property recruitment team. He’s a large springer/border collie/deerhound cross with a fabulous personality and loves nothing more than a run on the beach at Perranporth. He’s a dog that likes to play and run with other dogs or chase his football and this is why he loves Perranporth. It’s dog-friendly all year round and with a vast stretch of sand there is so much room to run and explore. The little pools of sea water that collect when the tide is out are the perfect spot for a cool down. After such an energetic outing he also likes to have a relaxing drink at the bar on the beach, and maybe even a few bites of ice cream too.

Meet Molly

Molly is an 11 year old Springer Spaniel and lives with our Marketing Executive, Catherine and her family. She loves nothing more than a walk along Rock beach and a swim in the Camel Estuary (usually after her favourite tennis ball!). Rock is a dog-friendly beach all year with a lovely long stretch of golden sand, backed by sand dunes. The passenger ferry also crosses the estuary from here to Padstow if you fancied a spot of shopping or want to travel to Padstow in a unique style!

Meet Maisie

Maisie is a Cornish Collie through and through, born in Zennor and now living the dog’s life in Newquay. Maisie was born deaf so has an extraordinary sense of smell and likes to keep her eyes on me at all times, being a true shadow dog. Her lack of hearing doesn’t deter her from loving life however, and like any dog she loves nothing more than bounding across Towan and Great Western beach at low tide, splashing about in the surf and hiking and sniffing her way up and down the multitudes of coastal paths. Some of Maisie’s favourite adventures include visiting the stunning Bedruthan Steps walk, (followed by a few gravy bones at the National Trust tea room), and trotting around Pentire at sunset to take in the panoramic views across Crantock Bay and Fistral.

Meet Barry

My name is Barry and I am a miniature sausage dog, I live with my human Geo in Helston, Cornwall.I love long walks on the Cornish beaches, especially Praa Sands and I love stealing my human’s socks.I am only 1 year old so I love to cause mischief.I dislike when my human will not share her dinner with me.
