The start of the summer holidays is nearly upon us meaning that there’s loads of activities taking place throughout the county. From the space exhibition at the Eden Project, to the Boconnoc Steam Fair at the end of the month – there’s something to suit everyone. We’ve listed a few of our favourites below:

Expedition Space at Eden: 21st July – 2nd September

Ever wondered what it would be like to go on holiday to Space? Head over to the Eden Project and take the trip of a lifetime.

Camel Creek’s Cool Summer: 31st July - 28th August

Join in the fun at Camel Creek with children’s favourites Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol making regular appearances.

Lusty Glaze Sundowner Sessions

Looe Carnival Week: 30th July – 4th August

The Looe Carnival is the highlight of the Looe Lions’ event calendar with a week of events that cater for the interests of all ages and interests. For more information visit their website.

The Cherry Orchard, Miracle Theatre: 15th June - 25th August

This summer, Miracle unpacks Chekhov’s bittersweet comedy about a once-wealthy family, whose idleness and extravagance have brought them to the brink of bankruptcy. Obstinate and self-absorbed, they are deaf to the rumbling of change which surrounds them, and unable to accept help when they need it.

Will it take a revolution to destroy their cosy world of privilege and entitlement – or will their own stupidity be enough? Bill Scott’s new adaptation treads a tragicomic tightrope, bringing out all the humour and pathos of Chekhov’s masterpiece which, more than a century after it was written, is as popular as ever.

Paradise Park Dinosaur Quiz Trail: 5th May – 2nd September

In between meeting the birds in the aviaries and at the free flying shows you can explore the grounds on your own dinosaur expedition. Search for the dinosaurs and their eggs, answer all the questions and they will award you their special ‘Paradise Park Professor of Palaeontology’ certificate and your own mini model dinosaur!”

Boconnoc Steam Fair: 27th July – 29th July

The Boconnoc Steam Fair is a three day steam extravaganza within the idyllic setting of the Boconnoc Estate. Join over 50 steam exhibits, classic tractors, commercials, cars and military vehicles, falconry displays and so much more!

St Endellion Summer Music Festival: 31st July – 10th August

Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2018, the St Endellion summer music festival began life when a musical priest, Roger Gaunt, invited a group of college friends down to help him renovate St Endellion’s derelict rectory. Over the years the festival grew from friends putting on small scale fundraising concerts to include an orchestra and a chorus.
