Our Marketing Assistant, Catherine, explains “Wadebridge is my favourite undiscovered place. Perfect for keen walkers and cyclists, it’s located along the Camel Trail, a 17-mile walking and cycling path that follows the river from Bodmin to Padstow. Wadebridge is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.”

Located less than 8 miles from the renowned harbour town of Padstow, and less than 7 miles in the other direction from the popular beaches of Polzeath and Rock, Wadebridge provides the ideal location for exploring all the delights of North Cornwall. Sat on the edge of the River Camel, Wadebridge and the surrounding area is famous for its stunning scenery and beautiful coastline.

The town itself boasts a variety of amenities including a cinema, selection of locally owned restaurants and cafes offering fresh local food, as well as a unique mix of boutique local shops and businesses. Wadebridge is hive of activity with a number of events taking place throughout the year, including the Royal Cornwall Show and the popular Wadebridge Folk Festival. There is also a beer festival in June and The Big Lunch, a street party organised by the town’s residents.

Discover Wadebridge today and you’ll never look back…
