Our Marketing Assistant, Charlie, explains “Away from the hustle and bustle of Padstow, St Merryn is my favourite place in Cornwall. This little village has a more laid back feel – with a surf shop, some fabulous restaurants and even a pub run by Rick Stein. And you’re spoilt for choice with 7 glorious sandy bays all within a few minutes’ drive!”

Located just 3 miles from Padstow, the village of St Merryn is a great base for your holiday, with everything you need right on your doorstep. St Merryn is the centre of the Seven Bays which is a wonderful collection of seven glorious sandy beaches. Each bay is different, from the beautiful, half-mile wide beach at Harlyn, to the sheltered, sandy cove at Trevone.

Besides the glorious bays, St Merryn is full of simply scrumptious places to eat and drink. We love them all but some of our particular favourites include The View at Higher Harlyn and The Olive Tree, St Merryn – both of which are on our Cornish Horizons Holiday Extras meaning that customers booking through us are entitled to a discount on the food bill.

There are many rural and coastal walks, along the beaches and through the fields which surround St Merryn. As well as the stunning views, there are many other treats including the Trevose Head peninsula, with its lighthouse, lifeboat station and blow hole at Trevone, some great fishing spots and even a golf course.

St Merryn offers great value holidays, only a stone’s throw from Padstow.

Discover St Merryn today and fall in love with Cornwall all over again…
