Cornish Horizons supports TATE St Ives

We’re proud to announce that we’ve recently become a corporate business member as part of the scheme set up by Tate St Ives.

Gemma Brown, our General Manager says “We are thrilled to join Tate St Ives as one of their corporate business members. We are always keen to support local businesses, especially when it helps to enrich our guests’ experience of Cornwall. The New Tate St Ives reopens for the first evening look on Wednesday 11th October, and will see the end of a four-year building project which has doubled the space for showing art and created spectacular new studios – we couldn’t think of a better time to have got involved and are excited to work together in the future!”. 

Tate is a family of four art galleries in London, Liverpool and Cornwall with a mission to increase the public’s enjoyment and understanding of British art. Arwen Fitch, Press and Communications Manager states “This is such an exciting time at Tate St Ives as we launch the new galleries. Our Business Membership Scheme is a way for us to partner with local businesses and raise money for our exhibitions and community events. We are pleased to welcome Cornish Horizons as a member.”

The New Tate St Ives are also celebrating the launch with free entry on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October. Over the weekend there will be fun family activities, pop up tours, events and talks, including a firework display on Saturday evening.
