The spectacular coastal views of Cornwall have been showcased in a brand new cinema production, one which made its debut on the big screen late last week.

Highlighting beauty spots such as Porthcurno and Lamorna, Summer in February is a an adaptation of the 1995 novel of the same name by Jonathon Smith. Starring Dominic Cooper, Emily Browning, Dan Stevens and Hattie Morahan, it unravels the story of a complicated love triangle between Alfred Munnings (Cooper), his wife Florence Carter-Wood (Browning) and friend Gilbert Evans (Stevens).

It doesn't just feature the beaches of the Duchy, with the South West Coast Path also playing a huge role in the story, as does the beautiful Trereife House.

If you are looking forward to your cottage holidays in Cornwall during the coming months, be sure to come along and discover the breathtaking coastline for yourself. If you can't wait until then, the film offers the perfect alternative method of discovery.
